This is Kyna my 19 yrs old TB/TREKNER and my son Miguel of 8yrs. She has been with us since july 2006. Kyna was skin and bones; my vet did not think that she would be able to go through our winter. But with time and lots of patience she did fine. Now, she is retired and stay> with 4 geldings. Kyna is hard to understand, she hates being brushed, being touched,hard to catch, will not go out of her paddock, won't stand still when tied and on top of all that she has PMS 24/7! But when I look at that particular picture, she is home here, my son just loves her even though she is the way she is. It seems like she is lost in her own world, that nobody can reach her. It breaks my heart, when she is by herself, looking far away in a daze state of mind, I wish I knew how to talk to her and to hear what it is that troubles her. All I know, she is a very kind girl, that 'comes out' once in a blue moon to give us a hug. God bless you Kyna girl....
