Hi there, I am brand new to this board but love it already. This is me and my girl, Bella. I just LOVE this horse (bought her twice!) but she does spook which is a problem that we are working on. WHY? I don't really know - I just adore her and see it as a challenge. She is a 13 year old, 1/2 Tennessee Walker, 1/2 Paso Fino and her gaits are heavenly!
We also have an arthritic 20+ year old TW that we adopted and he is a pasture mate. His name is Mustang, after my daughter's favorite car. And my daughter's horse is a Standardbred named Buckethead (yes it's true!) that is as bomp-proof as they come and she is currently in foal so while we are clueless we are learning about foaling and are very excited!
We moved from suburban California last year to live our dream out in the country and here we are in rural North Carolina in a cute little country house with a workshop for my hubby and a BARN! A real BARN! Which reminds me...horses gotta be fed and I've poop to shovel! YIPPEE!!
This pic was taken on Christmas day - I vowed to stay in my jammies all day, which I did, even while riding. And PS, our Troxel helmets are on order to arrive next week!
