Here is my horse Zory and me. He's a 5 year old Kiger mustang and the first horse I've ever started. It's been a real challenge but also very rewarding. We still have much to learn. The Kiger herd is from Oregon and is protected by the BLM in two fenced herd management areas to try to keep them from crossing with other mustangs. They have very strong "Spanish" characteristics though the genetics relate them more closely to the Lusitano. He's considered a grulla and if there are 2 photos here you can see how unusual his coloring is. These were both taken the same day but in different light.
