Today Holly was perfect! I took her for a 30 minute ride in the arena with my mom (it would have been longer but I practically fell asleep in the saddle). But it gets better! After that, The barn manager was cleaning stalls when I was putting her away, so I took her tack off and put her halter and lead on and led her around. Then my mom joked about riding her so I hopped on! I tied the lead around the halter like reins and rode her bareback for the first time ever! She stopped, turned, and backed! (I didn't do more than a walk, although SHE was fine, I wasn't sure that I could handle it.) I LOOOOOVE Holly!

WOO-HOO!!! It sounds like Holly is doing great! Congratulations on finding the perfect horse for you. Has she been getting along with Curly pretty well?

In fact, Holly and Curly HAVE been getting along! Its like they know that they were meant to be together! Curly in the herd is more dominant than Holly, and Holly is the lone wolf, but they get along nicely. Now its time for some photos!
