Well its been 3 weeks or so since I've ridden and I have my first lesson tonight (I think... vaca has made me too lazy to call my instructor). So hopefully with the lack of wedding/honeymoon planning stress things will go smoothly! Fingers crossed!!! I've started actively looking for a horse, hopefully we will get a chance to try out a few this coming weekend! I've been antsy since we got back to get in the saddle so if I don't end up having lesson tonight I might just saddle up our Belgian gelding and give him a go... that is if the weather could cooperate for a few hours! I know we needed rain but this is getting ridiculous! I'm glad we didn't end up getting one before going away but now... I'm feeling ready. I should probably withhold those sort of comments till after lesson tonight but... at the moment I feel ready! If anyone knows of a quiet broke horse somewhere in the vicinity of Southern Maine let me know! :)
