I just want to remind everyone to take it easy in this hot weather. Our temps have been in the 90s so I have been doing my work with Jethro early in the morning. This morning I was a little later then usual getting started. The temp was only 85 at the time and I figured we could handle it. The temp rose to 88 when we finished and Jethro was fine. By the time I got him unsaddled and things put away....I could hardly make it to the house. My fault, I did not stop for a drink of water or to rest as Jethro was going very well. Things can sneak up on you when it is hot.

Hot weather???
Wow must be nice!! I'm in Alberta. June & July rained almost every day, most days in Aug were rainy or overcast. Now to top it off the smoke from the forest fires in B.C. are so thick here it is hard to breathe!!

Stay cool!!

My older brother by 11 months (shame on my Dad!) has to do construction in Richmond, VA in 102 degrees. He's got my nephew helping him. Be sure to eat salt, too. When I was growing up in VA we had salt tablets and drink plenty of fluids.
