Sharon Shinwell is a qualified hynpotherapist and counselor who has competed, bred and owned horses for 25 years. She has combined her knowledge of the human psyche, especially that of the rider, with her knowledge and experience of hypnotherapy to produce of range of hypnotherapy CD's known as the Confident Rider Series. Her soothing voice and wonderful British accent will melt away your anxiety. I found that listening to these CD's a few times a week for a couple of weeks left me with a feeling of calmness that remains throughout the day. I handle people and situations with intellect, rather than emotion. The improvement has been especially noticeable with my riding. Now, I am calm and focused. I, now, think through unsafe situations in a logical manner, rather than in that "fight or flight" mode and give my horse clear, confident cues that help him relax.
