Mary Hamilton is a Mounted Police Instructor who has worked in Law Enforcement for over 20 years. As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and an Associate of Arts in Law Enforcement from North Hennepin College, she is a certified riding instructor through the American Riding Instructors Association.

Corporal Hamilton has studied Mounted Police techniques by attending the Mounted Police Colloquium in Lexington Kentucky, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Seminar in Ottawa, Canada and the Post Mardi Gras Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As a fully insured ARICP certified riding instructor, Mary devotes her creative energy to developing customized training programs to improve show ring performance, mount obedience and despooking trail horses utilizing training methods used in training police horses.

As a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician responding to accidents and injuries for twenty years, Mary’s priority is safety.
