My husband and I have a farm in Maine where we care for our 3 drafts, a team of mares, and a gelding. Late August we will add 2 to our barn, a big roan gelding and my new pony. It will be an interesting adjustment for all! My husband and I have been "into" horses since we were kids. I had a long break from the horse world and a little over a year ago purchased my first horse. It was a bittersweet learning experience, but I'm glad for every bit of knowledge and I enjoy the time I get to spend with my 4-legged kids whether its under saddle, harness, or just hanging out grooming and fussing. They are my therapy after a long stressful day at work and I'm so glad to have them back in my life!
