My name is Jennifer, and I've been riding for three years. I started at age 34-a few years after I got divorced, I realized I should be saying "YES" to everything I'd ever dreamed of doing but hadn't done yet. Riding was #1 on the list, and I've never looked back since... even after a bad fall and a broken collarbone and a soul-jarring confidence shake. I'm doing Hunter/Jumper work, and love trail rides, but mostly I just love being around horses. I am now thinking of switching careers to focus on doing hippotherapy, using horses as healing for special needs kids and adults... hopefully, that dream will come true, too.
