I am a 47 year old horse woman - my hubby also likes to ride but only once and a while and mostly in the mountains. I was a late bloomer to riding - at 40 and absolutley love everything about horses, but am a big chicken when it comes to bossing them around and trying to canter.

We have five horses right now. A big draft horse named Bert who is broke to ride, but is mostly a lawn ornament, a 7 year old buckskin QH named Axel, a crazy Rocky Mountain Horse that my husband loves and my two babies are a 25 year old morgan named Copper and a 7 year old grey QH called Tim. We also have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so the four leggers outnumber the two leggers around here!!!!
